Public Input Meetings

TAKE NOTICE that the City of Welland Budget Review Committee will be holding an open meeting to obtain input from members of the public regarding the 2021 Tax Supported Operating and 2021-2030 Capital Budgets.

The meeting is scheduled for Monday, December 7, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. via Zoom. Should you wish to speak at this meeting, please contact the city Clerk, Tara Stephens at clerk@welland.ca no later than 12:00 p.m. on Friday, December 4, 2020 to be provided with a link to participate. Should you wish only to view the meeting, all Budget Review Committee meetings are live streamed on the City of Welland’s website at: www.welland.ca/Council/Livestream.asp and do not require advance notice.

The following information will be available on Friday, December 4, 2020 on the City’s website at www.welland.ca:

• Proposed 2021 Operating Budget

• Proposed 2021-2030 Capital Budget & Forecast

Any person who attends has the opportunity to make a presentation with respect to the 2021 Operating & 2021-2030 Capital Budgets. In order for Council to hear from as many residents as possible, presentations are limited to 10 minutes per presenter. For recordkeeping purposes, if you have a written record of your presentation, please submit a copy to the Clerk at the meeting.

If you are unable to attend the public meeting, you can provide written comments to the City Clerk at 60 East Main Street, Welland, ON, L3B 3X4 or via e-mail at clerk@welland.ca.
