The City of Welland’s 2018 Budget ear-marked $13.46 million in capital spending to focus on strategic investments in infrastructure, maintain programs and services, and stimulate economic growth. All this was possible due to community input and insight on how the public wants to see their dollars spent.

February 2019 - The City of Welland is building a 2019 Municipal Budget that will benefit everyone, continue with quality services, and keep this city’s vision moving forward on sustainable infrastructure and growing a smarter city. The public engagement portion of the budget process is completed. The Budget Review Committee is in deliberations until the 2019 municipal budgets are approved by Council.
