Consultation has concluded
The City is carrying out a project called the Public Works Service Level Review to look at Public Works operations (including some parks and facilities activities) and make sure we are meet and exceed all regulations and the needs of the community.
Staff and community hopes and needs, along with financial integrity and environmental sustainability are key considerations in this work. Once we have documented our current service levels, and understand the priorities of staff and the community, we will make recommendations about public works services in the future and the resources needed to best serve the community.

A short, 5-8 question electronic survey circulated to staff to gain high level insights about status quo service deliver, and areas of strength and where additional focus/effort would be of benefit.

A virtual workshop will be planned with the City’s stakeholder advisory committee(s) to provide information about the current service levels, and to seek advice on future service levels, along with priorities.

A 1-hour virtual session will be hosted to provide information about the project, what we heard regarding service levelspriorities. Residents will be invited to provide any additional feedback through a general feedback form posted on YourChannel.

Key staff will be engaged in 1-2-hour sessions to ground truth outcomes-to-date and refine service level recommendations.

A brief presentation will be prepared for a strategy workshop, and/r Committee of the Whole and Council, outlining the process that was followed, input that was gained from stakeholders, and recommendations
