Built in the late 1950s, Memorial Park pool is one of the City's most appealing and well-used outdoor public spaces. Nearly 15,000 people visited the pool during the 2019 summer season. In 2020, it was closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and has not yet reopened.

But that’s about to change.

So, what's happening now?

  • Construction of a new facility is currently underway; see the pictures below
  • The anticipated opening of the new facility is currently scheduled for the 2024 summer season
