You can email election@welland.ca to provide you with the document.
One completed, you may bring the document to City Hall for review and certification, or you may take the document with you to one of the polling locations on the advance polling dates or voting day.

RobD asked over 2 years agoMail-in voting is not an option for Welland voters in the fall election. However, we do have the opportunity of voting by proxy. This will be set up to be available closer to the fall election date, and we will also have a special podcast episode to talk about proxy voting.

Do candidates have to register as a third-party advertiser if they plan to advertise in opposition to another candidate? Or can they do this through their campaign materials?
Thinking of Running asked over 2 years agoNo, candidates do not need to register as a third party advertiser.
A third-party advertiser is an individual, corporation or trade union that is registered in the municipality to promote, support or oppose a candidate or a “yes” or “no” answer to a question on the ballot.
In regard to campaigning materials, it is important for the individual to review the City of Welland's election sign by-law regarding information that can be advertised.
