When are Council meetings held?
Council Meetings are held on the first and third Tuesday of each month. A complete Council schedule is available on the agenda and minutes webpage.

How do I contact a member of Council?
If you would like to contact Council as a whole, you can email council@welland.ca. If you would like to email a Councillor individually, you can find their information on the Council webpage.
How do I find out who my Ward Councillors are?
In the City of Welland, there are two Councillors per ward. Our ward map can be viewed here. For a list of Councillors and their ward visit our Council webpage. If you have additional questions or concerns, please contact the City Clerk’s office at 905-735-1700 x2159, for additional information and assistance.
How do I request to make a presentation at a future Council meeting?
All requests to make a presentation to Council are to be submitted in writing to the City Clerk’s Office. Please send your written request by email to clerk@welland.ca, or by mail to:

In your letter, please identify the reason for your request, the nature of the presentation, the name(s) of the presenter(s), and identify the date on which you are requesting to present to Council. When your request is received, you will receive a response from the City Clerk within two (2) business days.
