We're gathering valuable insights from our residents about the City’s views on how our current council structure represents you. This survey is part of a Notice of Motion from City Council, which produced a report on key issues that impact our community. The report was sent back to staff for further engagement with residents, and your feedback is a critical part of this process. And that's why we're here.

Currently, Welland’s City Council is composed of the Mayor and 12 elected Councillors, two each representing the city’s six wards. Together, they bring a range of experiences and perspectives to the table, reflecting the diverse community they serve. City Council is responsible for setting policies, approving budgets, and making decisions that impact the quality of life for all Welland residents.
