People make parks

Playgrounds are more than places where children run, jump, and play. Playgrounds give children the opportunity to grow emotional, social, and physical strengths. Playgrounds are the places where children practice social skills, learn to share, and experience the value of friendship. Playgrounds appeal to the interests of children, engage them in creative play, and mould them to be better, more resilient people.

Children are our future. That's why we’re asking the community to help us choose the most appropriate playground designs for these parks:

Memorial Park:

  • Complete the survey below to help us select the desired playground design for Memorial Park.

Deere St. Park:

  • Complete the survey below to help us select the desired playground design for Deere St. Park.

St. George Park:

  • Complete the survey below to help us select the desired playground design for St. George Park.

We appreciate your feedback and encourage you to keep visiting this page to stay up to date on the project.

Any additional comments can be emailed to mohamed.awad@welland.ca.

The survey will close Friday, November 8 at 4 p.m.
